Bhutan-India Birding & Safari

This tour will take you from Paro, where you will arrive and then across the country exiting from most eastern part of Bhutan. It will then be extended to Kazaranga National park in India, the world heritage site, where you can catch a large number of Rhino and Asian elephants, Bengal Tiger, Golden Langur and Gibbons. Rare bird species that you can spot includes White-bellied Heron, Pallas Fish Eagle, Rufous necked Hornbill, Beautiful nuthatch and Wards Trogon.

Day1. Fly into Paro.
Day2. Paro to Thimphu (1 ½ hrs).
Day3. Thimphu sightseeing.
Day4. Thimphu to Punakha (3 hrs).
Day5. Birding at Punakha valley.
Day6. Punakha to Phubjikha (6 hrs).
Day7. Phubjikha to Trongsa (5 hrs).
Day8. Trongsa to Bumthang (3 hrs).
Day9.  Bumthang to Sengkor Camp (2 hrs).
Day10. Sengkor  to Yongkola Camp (2 hrs).
Day11. Yongkola to Mongar (2 hrs).
Day12.  Mongar  to Khaling (5 hrs).
Day13.  Khaling to Samdrupjongkhar (5 hrs).
Day14.  Samdrup Jongkhar to Kaziranga National Park (7 hrs).
Day15. Kaziranga
Day16. Kaziranga National Park to Guwahati airport (4 hrs).
